Returns & Refunds
In short
If something's faulty, you're covered by the Australian Consumer Law — we'll repair, replace, or refund depending on the problem. Change-of-mind returns are at our discretion (unused, in original condition). Custom builds aren't eligible for change of mind, but your faulty-goods rights always apply.
Your consumer guarantees
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
These rights apply in addition to any voluntary warranty we or a manufacturer provide.
| Problem | What you're entitled to |
|---|---|
| Major failure | Your choice of a refund or replacement, plus compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. |
| Minor failure | A free repair within a reasonable time — we may choose to replace or refund instead. |
Faulty or not as described
If an item is faulty, not as described, or fails to do what it should, contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the nature of the fault we will repair, replace, or refund the item. Please provide:
- Proof of purchase (receipt, order number, or invoice)
- A description of the fault and, where possible, photos or video
- The item and all included accessories and packaging where available
Change of mind
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind. Where we choose to accept a change-of-mind return, the item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and returned within a reasonable period. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at your cost, and we may deduct a restocking fee.
Custom builds & special orders
Custom-built PCs, special-order products, and made-to-order items are built or sourced specifically for you and are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Your consumer guarantees for faulty goods still apply in full. Custom PCs are also covered by our 12-month labour warranty on workmanship.
Warranty repairs
Manufacturer warranties on individual components are passed on to you. For warranty issues we can assess the item, advise on the best path, and where appropriate liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf. Data is your responsibility — please back up before any repair, as repairs may result in data loss.
How to start a return
Contact our team with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue and we'll guide you through the next steps. Bring the item into our store or arrange to send it to us; for faulty items we will cover return postage where required by law.
